Lorraine Bossé-Smith has over 25+ years experience in corporate America as a leader and change agent. She held key positions in multi-million dollar companies such as Vice President of Marketing, Marketing Director and Key Accounts Sales Manager.

  

Since 1996, she has served a variety of clients nationwide through her own business, which she is President. She is known for her performance on and off the stage. She has the unique ability to engage her audiences (or clients) in a manner that empowers them to great heights both professionally and personally.

Lorraine is the author of seven published books, has written for national magazines and newspapers, been a guest on live radio shows and appeared on live national television programs. She is a Certified Professional Behavior Analyst (CPBA) and Consultant, Certified Professional Motivators Analyst (CPMA), Speaker, Executive Coach and Fitness Professional, listed in the 2000 Who's Who of Entrepreneurs and the 2005 Who's Who Among Female Executives.

   

She holds a B.S. in Business Administration with minors in Marketing and Communications. She is dynamic, high energy and helps companies and people be great!

Virginia Bowen has been interested in writing since she was a child.  While her careers took her to a wide variety of environments and businesses, one constant was that of proofreader and editor for written materials, including time in law firms, where excellent proofreading skills are a matter of utmost importance. 

 

She spent over 20 years in the entertainment industry including stints at law firms and music publishing companies.  Concurrently, she was building her knowledge of animal behavior, another childhood love. 

 

She has experience writing and editing in arenas from computer technology to general science to a non-profit launch extravaganza. 

 

In addition to being a canine behavior specialist and trainer, she holds a certificate of completion of a 200-hour course in Animal Welfare Science from eCambridge University, with a special emphasis on equine welfare.  She is currently working toward her B.S. and M.S. in Companion Animal Behavior Science, Equine Emphasis. 

 

She lives in Kerrville, TX with her two donkeys, one mule, and one Quarter Horse, as well as her two dogs.  She has written for Examiner.com as their Austin Horse Examiner, and is now writing also on a wider range of topics for Suite101.com. 

 



Gail Fallen's diverse career path as a writer, radio talk show host, journalist, and network television producer has taken her around the world to satisfy her inquisitive nature and adventurous spirit.

In addition to her freelance and consulting business in public and media relations, Gail was recently named special events manager at the Candlelight Dinner Playhouse in Johnstown, CO. She was formerly an award-winning talk show host and executive producer on 600 KCOL Mornings, Northern Colorado's number one news/talk morning radio program from 2003-2011. Gail penned a high-tech research column for the Denver Post for several years, and was news information director for Colorado School of Mines for 11 years.

One of her favorite "they really pay me to do this?" career (ad)ventures was as a network television producer for the award-winning series, "Encounters with the Unexplained." In that capacity, she conducted inverviews from between the paws of the fabled Sphinx, explored the Great Pyramids with an Egyptian tribal elder, experienced the oddities of crop circle formations in England, and dove with hundreds of spinner dolphins in Hawaii as research for a program on dolphin intelligence. (And, yes, in terms of functioning effectively within their environment, they're probably a heck of a lot smarter than humans!)

An avid golfer, Gail has hacked her way through many of Colorado's most scenic courses. She's an advanced scuba diver, and enjoys wakeboarding, skiing, and snowboarding. A former ski instructor, Gail was also a competitive bodybuilder, and the overall winner of the Rocky Mountain Iron Man Natural competition in 1995. She's the proud mom of two Shih Tzu's, Heedo and Gizzy.

 



Jesscy Heimer is a dynamic business woman, with experience spanning many fields. Jesscy is a life-long entrepreneur, who strives to make her passions her business. She has traveled the globe making music, building businesses, and experiencing as many cultures as she possibly can. Her diverse background includes horse training, online and appreciation marketing, cultivating entreprenuership, dog rescue, musicianship, natural healing, and much more. Jesscy has been writing songs and poetry since she was a small child.  She thrives on entrepreneurship, creating her first business model at age eight.

Jesscy graduated with a degree in Alternative Medicine & Herbology in 2001, and uses her talents as a healer on a daily basis. Although she chose not to pursue a career in medicine, she has done an excellent job creating business around this and a few of her other passions.  She is the owner of membership sites for Natural Horsemanship, Herbology,and travel and singing, where her members can educate themselves and explore their passions at a deeper level. Jesscy is truly dedicated to helping others see the "art within" and thrives on being able to help others shine in their areas of interest.

Jesscy is a firm believer in the gift of giving back to the world, and practices this concept assuredly. She currently lives in Paradise Valley, Montana with her horses and dog, and continues to spread sunshine where ever she goes.  

 



Kevin Medina is a life-long marketing entrepreneur with numerous successes under his belt. Following a five-year tenure as a senior account executive at KOA Radio in Denver, he founded his first advertising agency in 1995. Within five years, the agency became one of Denver's largest, representing both local and national companies. The agency managed over $8 million in annual media placement and generated $200+ million in new revenue for its clients. In 2003, Kevin sold his firm to launch Mile High Sports Magazine and Mile High Sports Radio. As CEO, he took the company from start-up to $6 million in sales within four years. After an eight-year run at Mile High Sports, Kevin was longing to venture back to the advertising agency business where he could pursue his passion of helping businesses grow, and launched the Denver Marketing Group.

Kevin believes in giving back to his community. He has served on numerous non-profit boards throughout his career. Currently, Kevin is the Past-Board Chair for Jeremy Bloom's Wish of a Lifetime, and Board Chair of the Butterfly Pavilion in Westminster, Colorado.



Christa Schreckengost received her BA in English with a concentration in creative writing from the State University of New York. She is now working toward her MA in Graphic Design and Professional Writing at the University of Houston Clear Lake.

In the past, Christa worked for the International Education Center at SUNY Fredonia, where she designed and produced a monthly newsletter and organized educational events. Currently, she works as a freelance writer. She’s been published in Coast Magazine in Galveston. She is also a photographer for The Island Guide—Galveston’s monthly entertainment guide.

She is an avid writer of poetry and magical realism. She presented her first chapbook in 2008 at a public gala. Her poem “Devi” was published in the literary magazine The Trident in 2009. A selection of her poems won the Mary Louise White award in 2008. She received the Rosa Parks award for a poetic exhibition on cultural pluralism in 2009.

Never one to sit still, Christa moved from her home in Pennsylvania to attend school in New York and moved to Texas not long after graduation. She lived in India during her study abroad and has traveled around Turkey. She wants to make it to all 50 States. A trip to Alaska will complete the journey!

Christa shares her home with two beastly black kittens she saved from somecurb-side bushes. She calls them her “murder machines.” They can be found sleeping on either her or her computer whenever she is reading or writing.

   


 

 

Marion Terrell has been writing since she was in her early teens – poetry, short stories,essays, and later in her career – training programs, computer user guides, and marketing materials. Her focus is on non fiction for business and general audiences.

After majoring in English and French literature at the University of Pennsylvania, Marion embarked on a career that has included writing, editing, and training design and development. The various industries she has served include healthcare and financial services, real estate development, and computer hardware and software development.

She jokes that she was ‘born with a red pencil in her hand’, with a natural talent for proof reading and re-phrasing.

She specializes in presenting technical subjects to non-technical audiences, particularly in the fields of communications engineering, computer science and medicine. In addition to this work, she has designed, written and produced marketing materials and brochures for a variety of businesses.

Some of Marion’s writing and editing work includes:

  • A dialysis training manual (author)
  • A cookbook for diabetic patients on dialysis(co-authored with a nutrition expert)
  • Two complete sets of User Guides, Quick StartGuides and Reference Manuals
  • Multi-media training programs for end users ofnew computer systems

  • Sales and marketing brochures and proposals formultiple business products and services

Marion has studied graphic design and photography, and particularly enjoys incorporating her desktop publishing and photographic skills into her projects as needed.

Marion lives in Southern California with her husband Bob, and beloved animals. Her children and grandchildren live close by.
